Plejd has been installed at Vinnarhallen, the football arena located at Bosön in Sweden, where the Swedish national football team trains. When the arena's lighting was to be upgraded, two main goals were set: reduce energy consumption and modernize it. The electrical company Bara-N El selected Plejd for the project to achieve these objectives. The result is a modern and energy-efficient lighting solution.
Efficient control with scenes
At Vinnarhallen, the lighting is controlled by various lighting scenes. The football pitch is divided into several sections, each with its own lighting scenes. This makes it possible to light only the part of the pitch being used rather than the entire hall, which reduces unnecessary energy use. They also use scenes like "Everything off," ideal at the end of the day, and "Cleaning," which light up the entire arena to simplify cleaning. A shared iPad is used instead of traditional push buttons, making it easy to adjust lighting as needed.
Flexible control
The system includes a Plejd Gateway, allowing for remote control of lighting and scenes from the reception area, which is located in a different building. New scenes can be added, and existing ones can be adjusted remotely as needed, providing maximum flexibility and adaptability.
Plejd – the obvious choice
Bara-N El chose Plejd for this project due to its easy installation, user-friendly interface, and the ability to avoid extensive rewiring. They also appreciate how simple it is to program the system without requiring an external programmer. These advantages made Plejd the clear choice to satisfy the customer's needs and expectations.
