The modern villa
In the modern villa, outside Gävle, Sweden, Ida lives with her family. When they planned the lighting for their newly built house, Plejd was an obvious choice. They already had experience with Plejd from their previous home and knew how simple and convenient Plejd is.
Ida explains that it's much easier to manage their 170-square-meter house, multiple rooms and a variety of light sources when everything can be controlled from a phone, no matter where you are. Smart lighting in every room
– Plejd makes everything easier. At first, we thought it couldn't be that much trouble to press a push button – which you can still do – but Plejd is so much more. As I mentioned earlier, we have a relatively large house with several rooms, various light sources, and switches. Being able to control all the lights with time functions, scenes, or directly from the phone is incredibly convenient. It saves us a lot of time since we don't have to go from room to room to adjust the lights, says Ida.
Automated lighting
The family uses scenes and astro schedule to conveniently and automatically control the lighting. They have installed Plejd's wall luminaire on the house's facade, which provides a stylish appearance that illuminates the outdoor environment. The light can also be adjusted between cool and warm to suit different needs and moods. With the astro schedule, the outdoor lighting automatically turns on at sunset and off at sunrise.
– It's fantastic that everything takes care of itself, says Ida.
Plejd simplifies everyday life
Ida explains how convenient it is to control the lighting with the Plejd app. – Being able to turn off the lights directly from bed at night without having to get up is truly practical. The same goes for when we're sitting on the couch and want to dim the lights to watch TV. All of this has made our everyday lives easier and more comfortable, says Ida.
